Day by Day
Day 1
Shanghai Icons
Arrival pickup, then straight into the city's essentials: the Bund promenade, Yu Garden and the Old City, and an evening river-view dinner. If you land late, the day compresses gracefully.
Day 2
Water Town & Concession
Morning among the canals and stone bridges of Zhujiajiao, afternoon strolling the former French Concession's villa-lined avenues, and sunset at the Bund with the towers lit.
Day 3
Suzhou's Gardens
Drive to Suzhou (about 1.5 hours) for the UNESCO-listed classical gardens — the Humble Administrator's Garden is the masterpiece — plus Pingjiang Road's canal-side old town. Overnight in Suzhou.
Day 4
Hangzhou & West Lake
On to Hangzhou (about 2.5 hours) for West Lake: a boat across to the islands, the Su Causeway under willows, and a visit to the Longjing tea terraces above the lake. Overnight in Hangzhou.
Day 5
Lingyin Temple & Return
Morning at Lingyin Temple and its thousand-year-old cliff carvings, then the drive back to Shanghai (or drop-off at Hangzhou's airport or rail station — the ending fits your onward plans).
Route notes: Hotels are not included in the per-day rate, but we'll gladly suggest and book well-located options in Suzhou and Hangzhou. The route also runs in reverse, and a 4-day version (dropping Day 2) works well for tighter schedules.

How does multi-day pricing work?
One transparent day-rate per car covers the vehicle, driver, fuel, tolls, parking and the driver's own room and meals. You pay for exactly the days you use — no hidden 'empty return' charges.
Can we change the route mid-trip?
Within reason, yes — that's the point of a private journey. Linger an extra hour at a viewpoint, swap an afternoon, add a village your guidebook flagged: agree it with your driver and our team and the plan bends.
